A Brief Overview
As FS Administration Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data and financial settlement reporting to downstream RGA stakeholders. To achieve this objective, you will liaise with RGA clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that the administrative requirements of treaties are upheld for our Longevity Swap and Mass Lapse reinsurance products.
Team Overview
The team holds a central role in the oversight and administration of complex reinsurance arrangements, including longevity swaps and mass lapse products. Responsibilities include:
- End-to-end claims reconciliation
- Validation of client reporting (for policy data, claims, and financials)
- Ensuring robust financial control
- Supporting the implementation of new deals with efficient processing frameworks
- Managing claims payments and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Collaborating across functions to distribute client data to relevant stakeholders
- Assessing the readiness and mappability of schemes transitioning from modelled to live claims
- Participating in client calls and audit activities to maintain high service standards, accuracy, and governance

Your role will primarily focus on EMEA jurisdictions, with potential opportunities to apply your expertise in other RGA entities or affiliates worldwide.
Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with RGA team members, Finance Valuation, Risk, and Treasury to ensure:
- Accurate and timely treaty administration
- Compliance with SOX requirements
- Strong relationships across functions

Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying:
- Automation opportunities
- Redundant procedures/steps

Ensure RGA’s administration standards and service time requirements are met when handling all business.

For UK business:
- Oversee compliance with RGA treaties
- Provide administration data for:
- Accounting records
- Valuation systems
- Regulatory returns

Meet monthly deadlines by:
- Collaborating with team members
- Processing data accurately and on time

Ensure retrocession clients receive timely and accurate administration data.

Attend:
- Client audits
- Assurance reviews

Maintain documentation of administration processes and procedures.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Provide support on internal administration audits.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Skills
✅ Intermediate Excel proficiency (Data functions: VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIF, COUNTIF; Text functions: LEFT, RIGHT, MID, TRIM; Date/Time functions: TODAY, WEEKDAY; Data tools: Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, duplicate removal).
✅ Analytical thinking & problem-solving:
- Detail-oriented
- Focus on accuracy
- Experience handling large data sets
✅ Knowledge of pensions, including:
- Individual annuities
- Defined benefit schemes
- GMP, revaluation processes
✅ Previous experience in pensions administration.
✅ Basic VBA/Macros knowledge (beneficial).
✅ CII Qualifications (Level 1) (LF1) or equivalent professional experience.
