We’re seeking Senior Tax Advisors with experience in asset management, particularly with international fund structuring and UK corporate tax. This role offers the chance to:

The Opportunity
Within EY’s Financial Services (FS) Tax, our Private Capital Tax team specialises in Wealth and Asset Management, with specialists based in London and Manchester. We advise across multiple alternative asset classes, including:
- Hedge funds
- Private equity
- Credit funds
- Real estate
Serving UK businesses, US inbound groups, and global asset managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on:
- Fund tax
- International tax
- UK corporation tax
- Income tax
- Capital gains tax
- Other tax issues relevant to the Wealth and Asset Management sector
- Manage long-term client relationships, building trusted advisor status
- Communicate tax matters clearly—both orally and in writing
- Collaborate with EY teams (UK & global) to deliver integrated tax solutions
- Engage with HM Revenue & Customs and external stakeholders, including:
- Financial institutions
- Legal firms
- Wealth advisory businesses
Skills and Attributes for Success
Essential
- Proven ability to advise asset management clients and their funds, especially those with international exposure
- Strong technical tax expertise, particularly in asset management
- Client-centric mindset, with a track record of exceptional service
- Clear communication skills—simplifying complex tax matters for non-experts
- Collaborative and adaptable, contributing positively to the team culture
- Attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output
- Passion for broadening tax knowledge within asset management
- Qualified professional (e.g., CTA, CA/ICAS, ACA, or ATT equivalent)
- Experience in Wealth/Asset Management tax advisory
- Initiative, confidence in managing client relationships, and UK work eligibility
