About the Role

Sysco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Enterprise Services team (HR, Finance and Legal) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in delivering technology initiatives that support business objectives and strategic priorities across Europe. Working within a matrix organisation, you will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget.
  • Project Lifecycle: Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership, to understand requirements, define project scope and ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Methodologies: Deliver projects using established PMO governance standards and a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Communication Plans: Develop and execute effective communication plans, ensuring project progress, risks and key decisions are clearly communicated.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of business processes and business change, with the ability to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Experience in managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources and timelines.
  • Proven project management and project delivery experience within fast-paced IT or business transformation environments.
  • Experience working with multiple 3rd party system integrators and external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
