Fueller / Cleaner / Labourer – 39 Hour Week (5-Week Rotating Shift Pattern) @ Stagecoach East Midlands

Position: Fueller / Cleaner / Labourer

Salary: £13.08 per hour Hours: 39 per week (5-week rotating rota, 16:30–01:00)

About the Role

Due to a recent increase in workload, Stagecoach East Midlands’ Worksop Depot is seeking applicants for a dynamic and varied role covering fuelling, maintenance support, and cleaning tasks. This position requires flexibility and dedication to ensure our fleet remains in top condition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Bus Fuelling & Maintenance

    • Perform fuelling duties for all depot buses.
    • Clean the exterior of buses, including thorough wheel cleaning.
    • Conduct daily checks and top-ups of coolant and engine oils.
    • Record fuel, coolant, and oil levels in our fleet reporting system.
  • Fault Reporting & Fleet Monitoring

    • Identify and report excessive issues, panel damage, or malfunctions.
    • Carry out and report fleet checks when required by maintenance teams.
    • Assist in interior cleaning of buses as needed.

Requirements & Essentials

  • A valid UK car driving licence is essential.
  • A PCV or HGV licence is advantageous, though proven experience driving large vehicles may be considered (full training provided).
  • Physically capable of working in varying conditions, including lifts and stair access.
  • Must have or be willing to develop an understanding of basic vehicle checks and maintenance standards.
