Role Description

The Fulfilment Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge, responsible for supporting the end-to-end order fulfilment process. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Ensuring accuracy of quantities, documentation, and shipping details
  • Maintaining inventory records

The Fulfilment Assistant will help monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and support basic warehouse organization and safety practices. This position works closely with operations, sales, and customer support to ensure a smooth fulfilment experience for customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with order processing, packing, dispatch, and basic inventory control in a fulfilment or warehouse environment
  • Ability to use inventory management or ERP systems, with strong attention to detail for data entry and documentation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Comfort with manual handling tasks, and adherence to health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, or technology environments is an advantage
  • High level of reliability, initiative, and a customer-focused mindset
