Retail Stock Taker

with RGIS

As a Retail Stock Taker, you’ll count and scan products in stores using our handheld RGIS device, typically outside opening hours. Whether you’re new to RGIS or already familiar with our client stores, every shift offers new experiences and variety—one of the key reasons our teams love it.

About the Role

  • Work as part of a trained and supportive team

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and scan in-store stock using assigned handheld devices
  • Maintain thorough precision in recording product quantities
  • Familiarise yourself with multiple retail formats (supermarkets, convenience stores, etc.)
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including using ladders/steps safely
  • Contribute to maintaining efficient inventory teams

Requirements

We’re looking for:

  • Applicants based in Birmingham/Wolverhampton area
  • Punctuality and reliability – adherence to shift times is essential
  • Strong teamwork ethos; supportive attitude towards colleagues
  • Ability to work unsocial hours, including early starts, long nights, and Sundays
  • A meticulous approach to detailed tasks to ensure data accuracy
  • Physical capability: standing for extended periods, lifting limited weights, and safe ladder usage
