Full /Associate /Assistant Professor of Business Administration (Position Requires Relocation to Kuwait)
Full-time Faculty, Business Administration for the 2026-2027 Academic year Location: Kuwait, position requires relocation. Note: The position accepts unaccompanied candidates only.
The American International University (AIU) is looking for dynamic and engaged full time faculty for the School of Business. We seek individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students, building successful learning environments with students, and collaboratively engage with faculty and mentor students.
AIU invites applicants for a full-time Faculty appointment to teach business administration courses and general education programs. The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who leverages professional trends and technologies to deliver relevant classroom experiences. The successful candidate will be a leader and current, active member of the finance field, be able to utilize and teach organization behaviour, business computer applications, introduction to business, operation management, and business general education courses. Also, the candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. The position carries the expectation for research and school and university service in addition to teaching responsibilities.

Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching related to their specific expertise within the professional business administration curriculum, and be able to work within a small program, specialized in personal attention. Also, we expect leadership in undergraduate programs, curriculum development, mentoring, and startups. We welcome candidates who will diversify our curriculum and our faculty in regard to race, gender, and ethnicity.
Qualifications
Required
Academic Credentials: Ph.D. degree in Business Administration – Management or related field Teaching Experience: Minimum of five years of university-level teaching experience (for Associate & Full Professor ranks), with demonstrated teaching excellence. Professional Expertise: Strong evidencing professional and/or research-based work in the area of the professional expertise. Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software. Research and Scholarship: Evidence of peer-reviewed publications, and/or recognized professional practice. Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Cultural Competency: Experience working effectively in multicultural academic environments.

Preferred
Emerging Technologies: Expertise in AI implementation. Accreditation Experience: Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., AACSB or equivalent). Industry Engagement: Professional industry experience and active engagement. Capstone Supervision: Experience supervising senior thesis or capstone projects. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Record of collaborative and/or externally funded research.
