Arcadis is actively growing across Northern England, seeking energetic Quantity Surveyors to join our Major Projects team. As part of the Cost & Commercial team, the ideal candidate will deliver expert support across infraECT ÓUR BILLION £ plans, from feasibility and cost estimation through to procurement, tendering, and post-contract whole-life costing/carbon accounting. Reporting to senior stakeholders, this role spans transportation, infrastructure, energy, and buildings, ensuring transparent, scalable, and impactful project delivery.
Key Accountabilities
- Be a client-facing expert delivering best-in-class cost and commercial solutions tailored to Infrastructure & Transportation projects.
- Integrate multidisciplinary teams to provide value-added commercial strategies, aligning with Arcadis’ standardised, insight-driven approach.
- Champion Arcadis’ digital controls solutions, leveraging data science and analytics to deliver .ands with innovating digital cost management and carbon reporting.
- Actively contribute to Arcadis’ Global Cost & Commercial community, uencing professional growth within teams, clients, partners, and industry bodies.

Role Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A qualified Quantity Surveyor with a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (BSc/MSC or approved diploma).
- RICS (MRICS)/ICES (MICES) or equivalent professional acc $('#')).ingentials.
- NEC4 Practitioner status or similar **acc (‘ed’").
- Experience in major infrastructure/projects, ideally including:
- Cost estimation and planning,
- **Procurement and tendering proc ('oc'{),(ud specialisation in NEC, NEC4 and **acc’-’ coupled **ed urement or contracts management,
- **Post-contract cost con (control and ascertainment) for commercial fraud and early }";
- Collaboration with supply chain stakeholders (clients, consultants, design teams, contractors) to anticipate risks and deliver viable commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work across all project/programme stages*
