Full Stack AI Engineer

Tech for Good SaaS Platform | AI-Native Organisation

Remote (UK) | £65-75k + Benefits

The Opportunity

We're partnering with an innovative Tech for Good SaaS organisation that is transforming the way businesses leverage AI, automation, and intelligent technologies to solve real-world challenges. Following a period of significant growth and investment in AI, they are looking to hire a Full Stack AI Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the next generation of AI-powered products, internal platforms, and automation solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to move beyond traditional software development and work at the forefront of AI-native product engineering, helping shape both customer-facing solutions and internal systems that drive efficiency, scalability, and business growth.

You'll join a highly collaborative engineering function where you'll have genuine ownership, exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and the ability to influence technical direction from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications across web, API, and backend services.
  • Design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), agent frameworks, and modern automation technologies.
  • Create intelligent workflows and automation tools that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
  • Build integrations between internal systems, third-party platforms, and data services.
  • Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment and ongoing optimization.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering best practice, and platform scalability.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to implement them within the organisation.

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years' commercial software engineering experience.
  • Strong full-stack development background with experience across frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience building and deploying production-grade applications.
  • Exposure to AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), machine learning integrations, or AI-enabled products.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, system integrations, and cloud-native development.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
