Position: Full Stack Developer

Location: Remote (with an opportunity to relocate to Canada)

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust full-stack solutions that serve biotech labs.
  • Collaborate with our team to design architectural solutions, emphasizing scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Interface with the AI and ML teams to integrate transformer solutions that unify disparate R&D data.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software by writing clean, modular, and testable code.
  • Build and maintain APIs, ensuring efficient data transmission between Scispot and external tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate user needs into functional requirements.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency and product potential.

Technical Stack

  • Frontend: React JS, Next JS
  • Backend: Elastic Search, AWS Lambda, Rabbit MQ, Mongo DB, and S3
  • Microservices-based architecture with GraphQL and Rest APIs

Qualifications

You may be fit for this role if you:

  • Have a solid technical background in designing and developing large-scale systems, particularly on AWS.
  • Can thrive under fluid conditions and strategically juggle tactical considerations.
  • Showcase proficiency with Lambda function, MQ, Java spring boot, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, and S3 bucket.
  • Are adept at mastering new front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Are proficient in Python and have experience in building APIs.
  • Are familiar with microservices-based architecture and understand its intricacies.
  • Measure your achievements by business impact, not merely by lines of code.
  • Can synthesize the best ideas from across the organization and craft a compelling vision.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, building and maintaining trust.
  • Are deeply committed to mentorship and nurturing the growth of engineers and managers.
  • Favor simplicity and intuitiveness in solutions and designs, always keeping scalability in mind.
  • Are passionate about propelling our customers (scientists and researchers in biotech) forward through top-tier product offerings.
