About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a global charity organization dedicated to animal welfare. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that facilitate life-saving veterinary services worldwide. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in full stack development, with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative software solutions. You should have proficiency in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, along with solid experience working with Prisma ORM and SQL databases. A good understanding of RESTful API design and development is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and agile methodologies will be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are also required. A background in working within remote teams and a commitment to quality coding standards are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable back-end services using Prisma ORM and SQL, ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Build reusable, efficient front-end components utilizing React and Next.js to create engaging user interfaces.
  • Develop robust APIs to support both front-end and administrative systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Translate UX/UI wireframes into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces across various devices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define features, user stories, and technical specifications that align with project goals.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of the platform through best coding practices and regular testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Work independently within a remote-first environment, managing tasks effectively and meeting project deadlines.
