Full Stack Developer
Full Stack Developer – Glasgow
Purpose of the Role
To design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies, delivering business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
Development & Delivery
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and optimised performance in all code.
- Collaborate across product management, design, and engineering to define software requirements, devise strategies, and align with business objectives.
Collaboration & Culture
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends and contribute to technical communities for continuous growth.
Security & Testing
- Follow secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement unit testing and effective testing practices to ensure code readability and reliability.

Requirements
Essential
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Core Java (enterprise-grade application development).
- Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate).
- Microservices architecture design & implementation.
- JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular).
- Full Stack Developer with a track record of building enterprise solutions.
Highly Valued
- AWS cloud services (application development/deployment).
- Kafka or event-driven/messaging architectures.
- CI/CD pipelines & DevOps tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab).
- Salesforce experience, particularly in enterprise/CRM environments.
