Junior to Senior .NET Developer (Full Stack)
Location: Taunton Work Arrangement: ~2 days a week onsite Salary:
- Junior: £30,000
- Mid/Senior: Up to £65,000 plus benefits Employment Type: Permanent

iO Associates are partnering with a rapidly growing software consultancy specialising in the design and manufacture of automated electrical test equipment for industries like aerospace, defence, rail, and automotive. They’re expanding their engineering software capabilities and seek a full-stack .NET developer to support their mission-critical workflows.
The company welcomes developers at all experience levels—whether you’re a Mid/Senior Developer with recent WPF experience or a Junior Developer eager to grow your skills in .NET fundamentals, WPF, and desktop application development.

This is an exciting role to develop robust, maintainable software while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities

- Developing, maintaining, and optimising desktop and automation software in .NET, C# and WPF
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions
- Ensuring code adheres to clean architecture, object-oriented design, and secure development practices
Essential Requirements
- Commercial experience with C# and .NET (Core fundamentals required)
- Experience (or interest) in desktop application development

- Mid/Senior candidates: Recent WPF experience
- Junior candidates: Strong .NET basics and willingness to learn WPF
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns
- Experience (or exposure) to Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with MVVM and secure coding practices is a plus but not essential
