Senior Full Stack Developer – Financial Services (London, Hybrid)

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team within a prominent financial services organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact global financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications
- Ensuring seamless integration with cloud services and infrastructure
- Working with a hybrid model (3 days in the office per week) based in London

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong background in full stack development with experience in modern web technologies and cloud platforms
- Essential technical skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with React or Next.js frameworks
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Track record of constructive code reviews and collaboration in diverse engineering teams
- Exposure to financial services or investment banking is a considered advantage
Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing robust web applications with optimal performance and security standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and deliver high-quality code
- Conducting thorough code reviews and providing feedback to promote best practices
- Managing deployments on AWS, maintaining infrastructure using Terraform, and ensuring system integrations
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes
