About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our next-generation data analysis tools and infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Development Team Manager, this role is pivotal to our growth and success, supporting our bespoke IT system, Evolve, which has garnered industry awards. The successful candidate will work within our cloud-hosted environment to enhance the capabilities of our proprietary software, Solus, and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization committed to technological innovation and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that improve efficiency and customer outcomes, aligning with our mission to get customers back to normal as quickly as possible.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with experience in the Microsoft technology stack. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience with C#, .NET, Angular, Entity Framework, and Azure DevOps is essential. Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure, and experience working within Agile methodologies are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new products and features end-to-end using C#,.NET, Angular, Entity Framework, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate effectively with internal development teams and external partners to maximize business outcomes and ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Work across a diverse technology stack, including web applications, mobile apps, APIs, backend services, and databases hosted within Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Address and resolve delivery impediments by aligning with the Product Owner and adhering to established policies and guidelines.
- Live and promote Agile values, principles, and practices, serving as a role model for your team.
- Provide technical guidance on the design of Evolve, ensuring the user interface and user experience meet specified requirements and standards.
- Engage with industry events, forums, and stakeholders, including insurers, to share knowledge and stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.
