Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer (Java Ruby Angular) London / WFH
Are you a Java technologist with full stack development skills?
You could be progressing your career in a hands-on, impactful, Full Stack Developer role, working on a "tech for good" product that is helping to drive efficiencies for the NHS. The core product is a highly complex real-time shift rota application, hosted on AWS and available via the web or mobile device (iOS / Android).
As a Full Stack Developer you will play a crucial role in re-architecting and enhancing the scheduling platform to a Java and Angular codebase (from Ruby and TypeScript). You'll have a 50/50 split between backend and frontend projects, from designing and developing scalable backend Java services and REST APIs, writing and optimising SQL database queries through to creating user friendly interfaces using Angular (v15+).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
