Job title: Junior Full Stack Developer - Backend leaning

Location: London, UK (near Brixton station)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Work type: Hybrid - 1-2 days in office per week

Experience: junior 1-3 years

About the role

We're a small, fast-moving market intelligence company focused on Africa and the Middle East. We're looking for a full stack developer to take dedicated ownership of our frontend and API layer across a suite of data products - from a distributor directory used by FMCG commercial teams, to retail analytics tools and a content platform.

This is a high-autonomy role. You'll work directly with a lead data product engineer and a small research team, owning features end-to-end - from API design to deployed UI. You won't know everything on day one, and that's fine. What matters is that you pick things up fast, take pride in what you ship, and are comfortable being thrown into unfamiliar codebases.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
