Full-Stack Developer - MCSD & MCPD Certified
Initial 12 month contract
Remote Working - Travel to Leatherhead/London (If required for occasional days)
Outside IR35
Hourly Rates Negotiable
BPSS/CTC Security Clearance will be needed prior to starting this role, which is likely to take 6-8 weeks, so the start date for this position is likely to be September/October, depending on how long the clearance takes to achieve.
Microsoft Certified in ASP.NET and.NET Framework MCSD & MCPD - ESSENTIAL
Working with the Solution Technical Lead, API Developer will be directly responsible for all temporary and enduring technical documentation required to develop, test and handover APIs to BAU support; API Developer may be required to contribute toward more detailed solution designs for the wider platform.
- Work alongside BAs in the programme team to understand inbound/outbound data flows resulting from detailed business requirements and functional designs and develop these into give/get/post Restful APIs
- Work alongside Test Managers in the programme to ensure connectivity and integration testing meets the testing strategy and acceptance criteria for promotion to live environment.
- Work closely with Programme Technical Project manager and Project Coordinator to ensure development critical path is reasonable, deconflicted and achievable, task progress is reported to meet reporting timeframes, and advise where there is actual over/under-utilisation on tasks so action can be taken to mitigate.
- Act as a full stack developer and support or lead on developments across the wider Programme, where new custom developments are identified or changes to existing custom developments are required.

Experience Requirements
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects simultaneously.
- Experience (5 years minimum) as software engineer working on enterprise grade applications.
- Working knowledge of OO Design principles and patterns
- Designing, coding and testing program modules in line with functional requirements
- Demonstrable experience working to deadlines and creating technology in tight timelines.
- Experience working in an DEVOPs environment.
- Experience of scrum teams & sprint ceremonies
- Experience Supporting agile best practices (code reviews, unit tests, TDD )
- Good written, oral, comprehension and presentational skills to enable effective communication with customers and management in any format or forum.
- In depth knowledge of IT systems including a general knowledge of software development and software and hardware architecture.
- Knowledge of system interfaces and proven experience in delivering these interfaces, especially API interfaces
- Proven ability to influence others and explain how systems work, especially to non-IT literate audiences.

Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Experience (5 years minimum) as software engineer working on enterprise grade applications using Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Service Stack, Dapper, Entity Framework)
- Lead Developer experience with consuming RESTful API catalogues (Postman / Swagger / Open API)
- Lead Developer experience with XML and Json
- Lead Developer experience of web authentication schemes (OAuth / OAuth 2 / OpenID)
- Lead Developer Experience with database design, scripting and optimisation with MS SQL Server or MySQL
Qualifications/Certifications Requirements
- Degree Educated preferably in a technical subject
Essential Microsoft Certified in ASP.NET and.NET Framework (MCSD, MCPD)
Desirable Microsoft Certified in Azure Services
