Full Stack Developer (.NET) - C#, Angular, Cloud Technologies - Energy Trading - £95,000 per annum
I’m currently partnering with a leading global energy trading organisation looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their Trade Operations IT Delivery team.
This is a great opportunity to work on business-critical applications that support the full trading lifecycle across global energy markets, building and enhancing solutions used across key operational functions.
You’ll join a collaborative engineering team working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering scalable applications using modern Microsoft technologies. The role offers the chance to work across C#/.NET backend services and Angular front-end applications while contributing to architecture, development practices, and continuous improvement.
💰 Salary - £95,000
📍 Location - Liverpool Street
📝 Office Work - 3 Days Per Week

- Strong commercial experience developing software solutions using C#/.NET
- Solid front-end development experience with Angular (React experience also welcomed)
- Experience designing and delivering bespoke applications within a business-focused environment
- A good understanding of software design patterns and development best practices
- Experience working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of modern development methodologies and testing practices
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving technology, processes, and ways of working
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, developing, and enhancing bespoke full-stack applications
- Building modern Angular user interfaces and workflows used by business teams
- Developing reliable backend services and APIs using C#/.NET
- Working closely with business users and analysts to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Supporting the full software development lifecycle, including testing, documentation, peer reviews, and deployments
- Contributing to architectural discussions and improving development processes
- Identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies and improve efficiency across the platform
- Helping ensure applications remain scalable, resilient, and supportable for the long term

Experience within financial services, trading, commodities, or another data-driven environment would be highly beneficial, but the key requirement is someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through quality software engineering.
