About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic technical team based in Blackburn. This role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to balance on-site collaboration with remote work. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and platforms that meet the company's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for establishing and upholding high standards in architecture, code quality, and deployment practices, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, marketing, and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions. Mentoring junior developers and conducting thorough code reviews will also be key aspects of your responsibilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in full stack web development with proven experience in building scalable, maintainable applications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience using modern frameworks such as React.
  • Solid understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Define and establish architecture and development standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable codebases.
  • Design and implement scalable front-end and back-end solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Enhance deployment pipelines, streamline engineering practices, and optimize CI/CD workflows for efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with product, leadership, and marketing teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices within the team.
  • Oversee API integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements to ensure optimal application performance.
