At Cape.io

We’re not just keeping pace with the advertising industry. We’re accelerating it. Peach and Cape are now Cape.io—a global technology company on a mission to eliminate the friction between creative and media.

For almost 30 years, as Peach, we built the industry’s most trusted global ad delivery network. By fusing that trusted delivery backbone with a powerful campaign automation engine, we created Cape.io: the first platform for Intelligent Campaign Automation, unifying the entire campaign lifecycle. By embedding AI and automated compliance from creative inception to activation, we empower brands to launch high-impact, compliant campaigns with unprecedented speed and intelligence.

Our platform is trusted by the world’s top agencies and advertisers to control and distribute advertising content in over 100 countries. With 25+ years of expertise, 250+ team members across 40+ global offices, and more than 18,000 delivery destinations worldwide, we are fundamentally changing the way advertising works.

Overview of role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help us build and scale Cape Advanced TV and Cape Validation, two of the solutions at the heart of Cape.io and used by thousands of advertisers, agencies, and broadcasters every day.

Cape Advanced TV

Gives advertisers, agencies, and broadcasters control of their ad delivery across linear TV, CTV, and digital video, letting them deliver, source, collaborate on, and format ads through a single platform that is integrated with 18,000+ broadcasters and platforms worldwide, with automated quality checking, creative sourcing, and global delivery built in.

Cape Validation

Makes ad QA and compliance faster and more reliable. Its AI-powered tools automatically review ads scripts, storyboards, video, VAST, and display against the latest advertising rules, specs, and safe zones across multiple markets, helping teams catch problems early, cut review cycles, and launch campaigns faster.

These are modern, actively evolving products, not legacy systems. Advanced TV is a mature, modern platform refined through years of production use at global scale, and Validation is a new, modern, AI-powered product. You will work across a contemporary stack: polished React and TypeScript front ends, C# and.NET services, REST APIs, and an event-driven, serverless AWS architecture defined as infrastructure as code.

This is a senior, hands-on role with technical ownership. You will take features from idea through to production, set the standard for quality across the team, and mentor less experienced engineers. Crucially, you will work as an AI-augmented engineer: agentic coding tools such as Claude Code are central to how we build, and we expect you to lead by example in using them well, guiding, reviewing, and verifying AI-generated work rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We believe in clean code, simple solutions, automated testing, and continuous deployment and in taking ownership of a feature from the original idea through to deployment and support.

Skills and requirements

  • 5+ years’ commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, including a track record of owning features and systems end to end.
  • Strong front-end engineering with React and TypeScript, including large single-page applications and a modern toolchain. Experience with micro-frontend (e.g. Single-SPA) or Next.js architectures is a strong advantage.
  • Solid experience with state management (Redux / Redux Toolkit), component libraries such as Material-UI (MUI), and CSS-in-JS (Styled Components or Emotion).
  • Strong backend development in C# /.NET (.NET Core), designing and building REST APIs and services.
  • Deep, hands-on AWS experience in an event-driven, serverless architecture—e.g. Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, S3, Cognito, CloudFront, Route 53, and Aurora/RDS deployed via Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, SST, or similar).
  • Demonstrable, current proficiency with Claude Code (or directly comparable agentic coding tools) used in real, production engineering work, not just experimentation. You can structure context for an agent, drive an AI-assisted build loop, and critically review, debug, and correct AI-generated code.
  • A practical understanding of how to work with LLMs and AI agents in the software lifecycle: prompting, tool/MCP integration, and knowing when to rely on an agent versus a deterministic approach.
  • Strong database skills across relational (Aurora, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) and NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB) technologies, including data modelling and writing efficient queries.
  • A genuine commitment to engineering quality: DRY principles, TDD, automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library), continuous integration, and continuous deployment, with linting/formatting (ESLint, Prettier).
  • A security- and reliability-minded approach: OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, awareness of the OWASP Top 10, and building for multi-region fault tolerance and scale.
  • Experience with Git and Agile methodologies, working collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • The ability to provide technical leadership: mentoring engineers, raising the bar on code quality, and influencing design and architecture decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have (bonus points!)

  • Experience configuring and extending agentic developer tooling custom agents, skills, MCP servers, or AI-assisted CI/CD.
  • Experience with high-volume media processing pipelines, transcoding, QC, or delivery, or with video tooling (e.g. Video.js).
  • A visible learning footprint we can look at: GitHub, a blog, talks, or projects involving AI-assisted development.
  • Experience designing evaluations or guardrails for AI/LLM features in production.
  • Media, advertising, or AdTech experience, especially Advanced TV, video advertising, broadcast delivery, or ad QA, compliance, and clearance workflows.
