By harnessing sophisticated portfolio analytics, innovative behavioral psychology, and cutting-edge UX/UI, we create transformational financial outcomes for our users. Team Overview & The Role We are looking for a passionate Engineer to join our cross-functional squad in London. While the role has a strong front-end focus, we are an AI-first engineering organization. The ideal candidate uses agentic AI tools as a force multiplier and is comfortable flexing to tackle backend tasks (Kotlin/Spring) when squad priorities shift. Core Responsibilities Feature Development: Build, test, and optimize highly scalable, user-oriented features for our client-facing web application. Full Stack Adaptability: Take ownership of domain software, contributing to our event-driven microservices platform when backend support is needed. AI Engineering: Leverage agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) across the full development lifecycle, reviewing and hardening AI-generated outputs to maintain rigorous quality standards. Agile Delivery: Collaborate in a two-week delivery window to plan, develop, and release secure, cost-efficient features. What You Bring Experience: 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript and the React library. AI-Assisted Workflow: Daily practical experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tools, with the engineering judgment needed to audit and refine AI outputs. Modern Engineering Practices: Familiarity with TDD principles, clean architecture concepts, and consuming APIs (e.g., GraphQL). Mindset: An independent, critical thinker who thrives in collaborative, small-team environments and values continuous feedback. Bonus Points Backend development experience in Java or Kotlin (ideally Spring Boot). Understanding of microservices, database concepts (RDBMS/PostgreSQL), and event-driven architectures (Kafka). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or cloud deployments (AWS/Kubernetes). Location & Ways of Working Hybrid Model: London-based with a hybrid policy requiring 2 days per week in our London office. What We Offer (Benefits) Health & Wellbeing: Private healthcare through Vitality (including 50% off premium gym memberships) and an Employee Assistance Programme. True Time Off: 25 days of annual leave where we expect you to fully unplug—no booking leave required for quick life appointments. Financial Future: 3% standard employer pension contribution, with enhanced company matches available via salary sacrifice. Environment: A welcoming, dog-friendly office with break-out spaces and silent booths, alongside regular, well-balanced team socials. Extra Perks: Electric car schemes, family-friendly policies, and support towards professional qualifications.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
