🙋 ♂️ Senior Fullstack Engineer – Backend Leaning

📍 UK Remote

💰 Up to £100,000 + Benefits

🚀 Future of Work / Freelance Infrastructure Platform

I’m partnered with a fast-growing tech company building the infrastructure layer for modern freelance work, helping elite engineers, creatives, and enterprises work together without the friction of traditional recruitment and contractor management.

Profitable, scaling rapidly, and operating in a $200billion vendor management market, the business is redefining how companies engage high-end freelance talent globally. Their platform handles everything from onboarding and compliance to contracts, payments, and workforce management.

Following strong commercial growth and major enterprise traction, they’re now looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help evolve the platform for its next stage of scale.

🧠 What you’ll work on

  • Designing and scaling backend systems beyond a traditional monolith architecture
  • Helping shape async workflows, queues, and event-driven systems as the platform grows
  • Building resilient APIs and infrastructure for a high-scale SaaS marketplace
  • Working across the stack with Python, React, and TypeScript
  • Using AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate delivery
  • Contributing to infrastructure, observability, deployment, and scalability decisions
  • Owning features end-to-end through production in a highly collaborative product team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
