We're helping one of the world's most exciting, VC-backed defence technology companies hire a Full Stack Engineer to help build the software reshaping how western forces plan and run operations.
Our client is bringing genuine AI capability to one of the world's most critical infrastructures - defence. Their command and control platform helps military forces plan and launch operations up to 4x faster, with battlefield-ready software that works even in denied communications environments.
The product is already deployed with the French Army and German Bundeswehr, and is supporting operations in Ukraine.
Having raised €31.5m to date - including a recent €20m Series A backed by exceptional investors from the tech and defence worlds - they're scaling fast in London and Paris.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for an engineer who wants to shape a product from an early stage, not maintain someone else's roadmap.
- Entrepreneurial ownership over strategic products and features, with direct accountability for outcomes delivered to customers
- Building core features that help users plan operations and extract insight from complex data - including real-time visualisation and collaboration across maps, timelines and documents
- Working as a hands-on solo contributor and problem solver, while helping build and scale the wider engineering team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
