Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Opportunity
Copello is working with a growing defence business, who are looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to work on complex, mission-critical projects. You'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining modern software applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve challenging technical problems using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable software applications.
- Build and integrate REST APIs, backend services and modern user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable code using test-driven development principles.
- Translate technical requirements into robust software solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups and reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and software integration.
- Experience with testing frameworks and Agile development practices.
- A collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning new technologies and developing innovative solutions.
