Full Stack Developer Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) Salary: £50,000 + Benefits Permanent
A full-stack developer is required to join a growing technology business that is transforming vehicle logistics through innovative software and machine learning. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-leading route optimisation solutions, helping to build and enhance technology that delivers real-world impact across the automotive sector. Working within a collaborative team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining optimisation algorithms, supporting cloud-based applications, and contributing across both backend and frontend development.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Improve and optimise existing code, ensuring performance and scalability. Support machine learning models and optimisation solutions. Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and EF Core. Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, React, Vue.js etc.) Support cloud-hosted applications and services within AWS. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions. Apply software engineering best practices across development and deployment.

Additional Experience & Attributes:
Strong .Net and Python development experience within commercial applications. Experience with object-oriented programming and software design principles. Knowledge of algorithms, optimisation techniques, or mathematical modelling. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Exposure to AWS and cloud-native technologies would be advantageous. Experience within logistics, route planning, or optimisation environments is beneficial. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
