About the Company
We are currently working on behalf of an early-stage B2B SaaS Fintech company.
About the Role
This data-driven platform helps financial intermediaries, lenders, and consumers understand lending options faster and more accurately. By combining mortgage and credit expertise, structured data, lender criteria, and smart technology it makes complex lending decisions easier to navigate.
They are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to join them, working hybrid from their London office. You will work across the entire product, from Python services and APIs to React and TypeScript UI components.
This role suits someone who enjoys taking ownership and who cares deeply about engineering quality. This would suit someone capable of inheriting complexity and knowing how to make it simpler. In addition, you’ll have a commercially aware and pragmatic approach that’s a must have in an early stage environment. You will contribute to architectural decisions and ensure the platform remains robust, secure and ready for scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
