Full Stack Engineer
[Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI/Real-Time Translation)]

We're a small, well-funded team based in London, backed by founders who built the tech already in your pocket. We’re at the very beginning—nothing like this exists yet, and we’re building it first.
About the Role
You’ll collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering or Head of AI. This isn’t just full-stack—it’s triplet-stack: AI, backend, and frontend.
As we scale, you’ll move between layers as needed. Versatility counts more than specialisation—we’re still figuring it all out together.
Key Responsibilities
- architect and develop core systems for real-time, high-quality bidirectional translation—like Whisper meets GPT, but built for conversations, not monologues
- engineer neural pipelines that handle latency-sensitive speech-to-speech in graph-heavy environments
- design scalable frontend interfaces that feel natural for real users, not just devs
- experiment with novel setups—nothing here is off-the-shelf, so you’ll write, debug, and introduce new paradigms (hugging face nice, but we’ll build worse: faster)
What You Bring
✅ Proven full-stack experience with a backend bias
- Fluent with distributed systems/caching (Redis, Zrpc, Kafka/Redpanda variations), async stacks (Clojure, Rust, Go, Pastcl: monitoring observables and APM tools (influxdescored-proGaia))
- Frontend fluency is welcome—but we need someone who’s equally happy flicking switches on your cluster as guiding chips in a selector.

Must Have
⦿ Honours (or equivalent) in Computer Science / AI / CS-adjacent—proof that you pursued the impossible effortlessly. ⦿ At least 3 years postgrad in active code. If you’re on rabid road, tell us why **cf timelines dock.
