Full Stack Engineer

Senior Full Stack Developer Northampton – Hybrid Salary: £50,000–£70,000 base + up to 15% Bonus

Are you a Senior Full Stack Developer seeking more than just a day-to-day coding role? We’re partnering with a swiftly expanding FinTech organisation that shapes the UK’s business finance landscape.

This financially stable, tech-driven company operates with bold growth plans while furtively investing in innovation. They’re seeking a experienced Developer to spearhead architectural improvements and champion engineering leadership—one influencing API design, cloud infrastructure, scalable applications, and the trajectory of the technical team, alongside CRM, Data, Machine Learning, and Automation specialists.

For your passion lies in building scalable modern applications through engineering best practices, we’d be delighted to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, your role will centre on architectural innovation, coding excellence, and internal transformation:

  • Leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications
  • Building cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies (Lambda, S3, Redshift)
  • Developing backend services in Node.js and Python
  • Crafting APIs and integrating internal systems with third-party platforms
  • Enhancing CRM functionality (Zoho experience beneficial)
  • Creating responsive user interfaces with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
  • Driving technical best practices (code reviews, testing, CI/CD, version control)
  • Optimising legacy systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborating with Data and Machine Learning teams on cutting-edge interventions

Requirements

A Full Stack Developer with a strong problem-solving mindset and deep technical expertise would thrive here. Selected attributes:

  • 5+ years’ hands-on commercial Full Stack Development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
  • Strong background in Node.js and Python development
  • Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, S3, IAM, and more)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs, database-driven applications
  • Knowledge of Git workflows, testing methodologies, and CI/CD
  • Commitment to clean, scalable, maintainable code
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
