I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll be a Full Stack Software Engineer in a small, fast-paced team, working across frontend and backend to ship real features using C#,.NET, React, and Azure. You must be confident across the stack - this role offers real autonomy and end-to-end ownership. They use AI in their daily workflows and in the product itself.
This isn’t just an engineering role. You’ll be actively involved in commercial decisions, product strategy, and user conversations - not just handed tickets.
We’re looking for:
- Mid–Senior Full Stack Software Engineers — while we don’t fixate on years, 2+ years' experience is typically what we'd expect. We need engineers to hit the ground running.
- Strong across C#,.NET, and React
- Passionate about building great products users actually love. Experience in FinTech or B2B SaaS would be highly advantageous but by no means an essential.
- Experience building 0 - 1 - this is key.
- Experience using AI tools.
- Excited by early-stage, in-office startup life
- Hungry to build something with lasting impact
