About the Role

Seeking a versatile Product Engineer to build a platform that enables researchers and engineers to discover and evaluate new algorithms. This role sits across the full-stack, influencing architectural decisions and improving how users define, run, and monitor AI-driven experiments. The ideal candidate blends hands-on engineering with a strategic product viewpoint as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate end-to-end full-stack solutions, from front-end user experiences to scalable backend infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to define requirements and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Develop modular, maintainable UI components to ensure a fast and intuitive user experience.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical strategy, and product development decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer.
  • End-to-end experience shipping user-facing products, spanning database design to frontend implementation.
  • Strong product mindset, capable of understanding user needs, contributing to product design, and prioritising features effectively.
  • Production-level experience with:
    • TypeScript and React
    • At least one backend language (Python, Go, Rust, Java, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with AI agents, ML applications, or LLM-based systems.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
  • Knowledge of secure software development and cloud security best practices.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
