The Engineering team works in agile, cross-functional squads alongside Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver scalable digital solutions. Following a major platform transformation, the team is focused on developing innovative products, improving personalization and member engagement, and continuously evolving its cloud-native technology platform.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of modern cloud-based applications while contributing technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle. In this role, you will take ownership of key product areas, mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
- Lead the implementation of new features and enhancements across frontend and backend systems.
- Take ownership of technical solutions within your product domain.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver business objectives.
- Drive experimentation, A/B testing, and continuous product improvements.
- Design and implement cloud-native, serverless solutions on AWS.
- Maintain and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Review code, promote engineering best practices, and ensure software quality.
- Mentor junior engineers through coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to improve architecture, development processes, and team efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience developing production-grade full-stack web applications.
- Strong expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, EventBridge, AppSync, and SQS.
- Experience building and deploying serverless applications using modern Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud-native development, and distributed systems.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and supporting team growth.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments while managing multiple priorities.
