Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead
Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (Python, API, JavaScript, React) – Oxford / WFH (up to £90k)
About the Role
Ownership of the technology strategy, architecture, and software platforms driving a growing motorsport and technology business. This role is ideal for an Engineer who thrives on transforming engineering functions, influencing business-critical decisions, and building high-performing teams—while staying hands-on with product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical roadmap, making architectural decisions to future-proof scalable systems.
- Evolve the technology stack, introduce modern tools, and refine engineering practices across the organisation.
- Build real-time platforms supporting:
- Telemetry
- Data visualisation
- Analytics, reporting
- AI-enabled workflows
- Review & mentor junior developers, lead technical deliveries, and foster scrum nor deliverables.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align tech strategy with business goals and explain technical strategy to stakeholders clearly

About You
Essential Requirements
✔ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
✔ Proven hands-on experience in:
- Python (APIs, full-stack frameworks)
- JavaScript + React (building dynamic frontends)
- SQL / NoSQL (data-driven applications)
- Clean code, testing, and scalable system design

✔ Technical leadership experience:
- Code review, mentoring developers, or leading technical delivery in fast-moving teams
- Strong communication—explaining technical strategy to non-technical stakeholders
✔ Well-rounded cloud & DevOps skills:
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or similar cloud infra
- ai & LLMs added to daily software development workflows
