Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend-Leaning) | Scale-Up AI Platform 🚀
💰 Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum + equity
🏡 Location: Hybrid – 1 day a week onsite in London
💻 Tech Stack: Vue 3 / React, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, Azure
We're partnering with a high-growth AI adoption and skills platform, who are developing a production-grade enterprise SaaS application at scale. Their platform delivers personalised, AI-powered learning and governance experiences that help major global organisations rapidly harness AI safely.
Having recently closed a successful funding round (backed by top-tier VCs) and already scaling past £1M+ ARR with over 15,000 users, they are embarking on an exciting new phase of expansion into the US. They are looking for a skilled Frontend-Leaning Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their elite 9-person engineering team, taking point on user experience, UI architecture, and high-impact feature delivery.

💻 What you will do as a Senior Full Stack Engineer:
- Lead the frontend engineering efforts (~70% frontend / 30% backend split), crafting highly responsive, accessible, and intuitive visual interfaces for AI-powered learning flows and platform dashboards.
- Design and implement full-stack features end-to-end, connecting dynamic UI components to backend APIs and services using Python (FastAPI).
- Collaborate directly with Product, Design, and the CTO to translate complex AI workflows into smooth, slick end-user experiences.
- Set the standard for frontend performance, component reuse, state management, and modern UI patterns across the codebase.

🤖 What they're looking for in a Senior Full Stack Engineer:
- Frontend Excellence: Strong, hands-on experience mastering modern JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/Tailwind, and modern SPA frameworks (Vue 3 or React).
- Full-Stack Capability: Comfortable navigating and writing backend code. While they use Python (FastAPI) on the backend, they are flexible on backend language backgrounds as long as you have solid API integration experience.
- Product & Design Empathy: You care deeply about the user experience. You don't just build to a ticket—you work closely with design to refine UI details, edge cases, and interactions.
