We are working with a world-leading, household-name audio streaming platform on an exciting opportunity within their Trust & Safety / Policy Platform team. This company is renowned for innovation and provides a dynamic environment for engineers to build impactful solutions.
The Role
- Build and scale core APIs and services to expose complex policy logic
- Model data for strict auditability, versioning, and efficient querying, feeding structured datasets into downstream machine learning models
- Design and implement intuitive web interfaces for non-technical stakeholders to manage content policies with robust approval workflows
- Translate global regulatory requirements into airtight engineering constraints and audit trails
- Contribute to a backend-heavy role with a 70% backend / 30% frontend split

What You'll Need
- Strong production experience building high-scale services using Java, Kotlin, or Go
- Hands-on experience building clean, intuitive internal tooling using React and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of API design, backward compatibility, and data modeling for complex, versioned systems
- Experience working with data pipelines and a solid grasp of real-time versus batch processing
- An eye for usability, making complex workflows simple and foolproof for non-technical users
- Comfort with both schema evolution and frontend state management
