Senior Level Software Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Level Software Engineer to join our London office to lead and work with our existing development team.
Location
- This is a hybrid role with a 50% split between London city office and remote.
- Candidate must be currently residing in the UK and willing to commute to the London office regularly.
- Current hybrid schedule is alternating between 3 or 2 days in the office.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5+ years Java full stack software development experience and excellent familiarity with REACT.
- A BSc or MSc in computer science or related field is highly desirable but less so than relevant experience.
- Flexibility to work on both legacy projects and developing new and future products using up-to-date methodologies and technologies.
- Candidate will be working on both Frontend and backend projects and APIs.
- Excellent communication skills essential as occasional client liaison will be required.

Main Duties
- Work with existing codebases to add functionality and resolve issues including legacy and modern tech stacks.
- Candidate will be working on legacy projects written in native Java and JSP so must be comfortable writing code without a framework.
- Candidate will be working on modern projects using frameworks including Springboot and React.js.
- Work on all parts of the development life cycle from analysis to maintenance.
- Write clean code and be able to debug and resolve issues.
- Work alongside project managers and other stakeholders to enhance existing products and creating new IP.
