Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer

📍 London | Hybrid Working
💰 Up to £86,000

We're partnered with a growing digital consultancy delivering large-scale transformation programmes across both public and private sector organisations. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join their engineering team, with scope for experienced candidates to operate at Lead level.

You'll work alongside product managers, designers, delivery specialists, and engineers to build secure, scalable digital products that solve real-world problems for thousands of users.

The role:

  • Develop modern digital products using Kotlin and Java
  • Design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
  • Work with cloud-native technologies across AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practice
  • Mentor developers and help drive engineering excellence
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver user-centred solutions

Key experience required:

  • Commercial Kotlin and JVM development experience
  • Strong Java background
  • Spring Boot and wider Spring Framework expertise
  • Microservices and API development experience
  • Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, or modern web technologies
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP experience
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code knowledge
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
