Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role Purpose

Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android, working end-to-end from mobile UI through to integration with backend services running on.NET and hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and cloud teams to deliver secure, performant, and scalable mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Build and maintain reusable mobile components, UI patterns, and app architecture aligned to engineering standards.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend services on GCP using REST/JSON (and where relevant GraphQL), including authentication and secure data handling.
  • Contribute to backend/API integration work (and occasionally service improvements) in a .NET ecosystem to support mobile features.
  • Ensure reliability, responsiveness, and strong user experience across a range of devices, OS versions, and network conditions (including offline considerations where needed).
  • Implement automated testing, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Monitor and optimize app performance, stability, battery usage, and telemetry; troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and secure coding practices.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups) and deliver iteratively with the team.
