About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead Full Stack Developer to join a rapidly expanding UK-based SaaS technology company. This organization develops innovative, data-driven digital products that empower commercial teams to better understand and engage with their customers. As a key member of the technical leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's customer-facing platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented development squad, contribute to system architecture, and deliver high-quality software solutions in a modern cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, with hands-on experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. This position is based in Hampshire with a hybrid working model, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership ability, and industry experience, including:
- Over 10 years of full stack software development experience, with a focus on scalable and maintainable systems.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments.
- Strong understanding of system design principles, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proven experience building and maintaining large SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
- Experience working with databases such as Redis, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance, security, and best engineering practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical and leadership tasks, including:
- Leading the technical delivery of projects across a high-performing development team of 10+ members.
- Contributing to solution design, system architecture, and domain modeling to ensure scalable and robust platforms.
- Building proof-of-concepts and addressing complex or uncertain technical challenges through spikes and experimentation.
- Breaking down requirements into manageable epics and user stories in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
- Developing and delivering high-quality, production-ready code across the full technology stack.
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks to maintain high quality and reliability.
- Supporting and improving live systems post-deployment, including troubleshooting and implementing enhancements.
- Influencing the technical direction, tooling, and best practices across the engineering team to foster continuous improvement.
- Mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative, innovative team environment.
