Full Stack Software Developer (.NET, Angular)

Role Type: 1 year Fixed term Contract

Would you like to develop innovative digital applications to solve our greatest energy transition challenges? Are you a Full Stack Developer looking for an inspiring opportunity to grow? Join our Software Team within Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance (P&M)

You will be working on software application for life cycle project management within Energy Technology sector. Our team develops high performing, scaling, innovative applications. We collaborate with system engineers, product owners, subject matter experts to create unique products. You will participate in the Baker Hughes Software Alliance community such as UX Design, Data Science, Agile Practitioners.

As a Full Stack Software Developer (.NET, Angular), you will be responsible for:

  • Developing exceptional applications for our business
  • Writing clean, scalable code using C#/Type Script programming languages
  • Developing end-to-end applications using Angular/.net
  • Developing technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture with strong attention to detail
  • Applying software development life-cycle principles and methodologies such as Agile and Kanban, to continuously improve our code and processes
  • Improving code quality and deployment processes, enhancing CI/CD pipelines

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related Technology discipline, or equivalent demonstrable work experience.
  • Have experience with back-end development frameworks and technologies such as C# and .NET.
  • Have experience with front-end development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Have knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB.
  • Have experience developing object-oriented software and applying standard engineering practices, including unit testing.
  • Have experience using development tools such as Git, GitHub, and cloud services.
  • Have experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
