We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives on end-to-end ownership - someone who can architect a feature from database schema to React component and see it through to production.

Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of features from initial design to production deployment. You will define the database schema, build the backend logic, and deliver the frontend UI - without waiting for others to hand off pieces of the work.
  • Full-Stack Development: Work across a Spring Boot monolith, microservices architecture, and TypeScript/React frontends. You are comfortable context-switching between layers of the stack and producing quality code at each level.
  • Problem Solving & Technical Decision-Making: Take ambiguous, undefined problems and break them down into clear, actionable engineering tasks. Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, and business value then see them through to release.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Nice to Have

  • Legacy System Experience: You have navigated and improved legacy codebases - refactoring incrementally, managing technical debt, and shipping improvements without breaking what already works.
  • Cross-Functional Engineering Leadership: Experience serving as the primary engineering voice in product, design, or stakeholder conversations. You can translate technical constraints into business language and advocate for sound engineering decisions.

If you are a self-driven engineer who takes ownership, moves fast, and loves building products end-to-end, we would love to hear from you. Please send your updated resume to [contact information removed].
