Client Group partners with the global Tax Utility to deliver technology solutions that support tax rate determination, withholding, and regulatory reporting. The team leverages modern engineering practices and platforms (including AWS, Databricks, and AI/ML) to improve compliance outcomes, streamline tax workflows, and enable accurate, timely reporting. Our platforms and analytics help drive efficient tax management, reduce operational risk, and strengthen the integrity and agility of the firm's tax operations.

Role: Full Stack Software Engineer (Contractor)

Required Skills/experience

  • Strong full stack engineering background with deep expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (preference for AWS)
  • Experience using AI-assisted developer tools to improve engineering productivity (preference for agentic AI exposure)
  • Solid data analysis skills and comfort working with data-driven applications

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions for complex business and technical problems
  • Apply sound engineering judgment and innovative thinking to deliver solutions beyond standard patterns when needed
  • Contribute to technical architecture and design/build resilient microservices (scalability, reliability, maintainability)
