Role Overview
Brookfield Asset Management is looking to add a full-time intern to the Real Estate team (London office), for a duration of 6 months starting in September 2026, who will work closely with a seasoned team of real estate investment professionals in both M&A and portfolio management teams. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and portfolio companies throughout Europe and interact with and support the global investment team network.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with senior Brookfield management on deal origination
- Performing complex financial modelling and cash flow analysis
- Participating in every stage of deal execution and supporting the deal flow with ad hoc tasks
- Preparation of investment committee memorandums
- Assisting portfolio company management teams with a wide range of strategic activities including but not limited to bolt-on acquisitions, (re-)financings, business plan forecasting, strategic planning and other operations
- Conducting market research and tracking of industry trends

Technical Skills
- Major in engineering, business, finance, economics, real estate or law preferred but not required
- Previous real estate M&A internship experience is beneficial
- Genuine interest in real estate
- Strong analytical and financial skills as well as proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of another European language is an advantage (preferably French, German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian)
