Full-Time Football Coach

Full-Time Football Coach

Application Deadline: 31 July 2026 Department: Programmes Employment Type: Full Time Location: North London Compensation: £27,000 - £32,000 / year

About Bloomsbury Football Foundation

In 2018, Bloomsbury Football Foundation began with just four children and a bag of footballs on a Camden housing estate. Today, we reach over 7,000 young people weekly across London—and we’re only starting.

We exist because not every child grows up with the same opportunities to play, belong, and progress. Too many young people are locked out due to cost, circumstance, or geography. Using football, the world’s most popular sport, as a powerful vehicle for health, wellbeing, and social change, we’re breaking these barriers.

In a few short years, our income has grown from £1m to £5m. We’re now expanding beyond London into areas of deprivation nationwide, with ambitions to reach over 40,000 young people weekly by 2031. We’re not just building a charity—we’re changing lives.

To get there, we need people who believe in football’s power to transform futures. Forward. Together.

About the Role

Bloomsbury Football Foundation is on a mission to transform young lives through football, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to play, regardless of ability to pay. Our coaching programmes—Covering Communities, Club Football, Schools, and Special Projects—reach over 6,500 young people weekly across London’s most underserved areas.

This role is about leading change on and off the pitch. You’ll be the constant you—responsible for planning and delivering high-impact sessions for young people aged 4 to 18, while fostering their growth as players and individuals.

Ideal candidates:

  • Are seasoned coaches (UEFA C qualified or equivalent), passionate about inclusive, purpose-driven football
  • Believe in the social impact of coaching as much as technical expertise
  • Thrive in dynamic environments, leading with professionalism, creativity, and empathy
  • Understand that relationships matter just as much as results
  • Share our belief that every young person deserves a place to play, belong, and progress

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
