Job Description: Maintenance Associate
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Associates to join the Equinox team. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth organisation within a luxury, state-of-the-art facility in Kensington, UK.
Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks:
- Ensure the club and its exercise equipment are clean, well-maintained, and meet high sanitary standards
- Deliver excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
- Maintain a presentable sidewalk entrance and lobby
- Clean locker rooms, stock supplies, and ensure rooms are orderly
- Organize and clean storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms
- Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance
- Handle receiving, sorting, and storing deliveries
- Support with special events as needed
- Notify the Housekeeping Manager of any immediate needs related to rooms or equipment
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Availability: Willingness to work 40 hours per week
- Cleaning Expertise: A clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly desirable
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ability to service athletic equipment
- Experience in working with cleaning products and hand tools
- Soft Skills:
- Strong customer service abilities
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
