Atherapy Limited is a physiotherapy and sports medicine company delivering healthcare to patients experiencing disablement, and pain associated with musculoskeletal injury, post-operative conditions, and sports injuries who wish to improve their health.

Locations

Atherapy Clinics, London — initially supporting Chiswick, with flexibility to work across Atherapy sites as required

Key Responsibilities

  • To take professional responsibility as a Chartered Physiotherapist, with high level decision-making.
  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage a complex MSK caseload.
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning and autonomous decision-making.
  • Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and insurer-compliant documentation.
  • Identify, manage, and appropriately escalate clinical risk.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing Atherapy’s clinical reputation.
  • Uphold CSP and HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics at all times.
  • To comply with all Atherapy policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring that product and service delivery and customer experience is of a consistently high standard.
  • To communicate effectively with clients and/or parents and carers, respecting privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
  • To communicate effectively with referring parties so that all clients receive continued and uninterrupted care.
  • To proactively attract returning and new client business to the clinic site, which should include taking a proactive stance towards nurturing active referral links with consultants, PT’s and other relevant bodies.
  • To continually strive to improve clinic standards identify any risks to the Clinical Team Manager.
  • To maintain accurate client documentation, records, and statistical information, and to complete them in a timely manner and in line with contractual service level agreements.
  • To continually develop as a Chartered Physiotherapist and evidence continued professional development (CPD) which should include attending external conferences and events that are beneficial to your own professional development.
  • To abide by the CSP’s Code of Members’ Professional Values and Behaviour, and the HCPC’s Standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
  • To support the clinic’s multidisciplinary team to develop service improvements, when required.

  • BSc (hons) Physiotherapy Degree or equivalent Essential Criteria
  • MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine Desirable Criteria
  • Full registration with HCPC and CSP Essential Criteria
  • Working in elite sport Desirable Criteria
  • 3+ Years of postgraduate experience in musculoskeletal field Essential Criteria
  • Experience of building a caseload and working within private practice Desirable Criteria
  • Evidence of Right To Work in the UK Essential Criteria
  • Strong existing consultant referral links Desirable Criteria
  • In date Enhanced DBS check Essential Criteria
  • Evidence of ongoing commitment to CPD Essential Criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills Essential Criteria
  • Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills Essential Criteria
