Job Title: Full-Time Secretary / Office Administrator
Location: E17, London Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience) Benefits: On-site parking
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and professional Secretary to join our busy office based in the E17 area. This is a full-time, office-based position where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Managing emails and correspondence
- Greeting clients and visitors professionally
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- General administrative and secretarial duties
- Assisting with a small amount of bookkeeping, including processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records, Sage Line 50 Accounts
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day office tasks
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently
- Preparation of accounts packs will be shown on the job

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
- Professional telephone manner
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Desirable
- Experience working in a busy office environment
- Knowledge of Sage Accounts is advantageous, as the role includes a small amount of bookkeeping
