About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and confident Virtual Assistant to join our team as a Customer Follow-Up Specialist.
Your primary responsibility will be reaching out to past customers and previous leads by phone. You will reconnect with customers whose projects were completed approximately 12 months ago, follow up with customers around the 30-day mark after project completion, and contact prospects who previously received a quote but did not move forward.
We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, builds rapport easily, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
Responsibilities
- Call customers whose projects were completed approximately 12 months ago.
- Follow up with customers around 30 days after project completion.
- Contact unsold leads to determine if they are still interested in moving forward.
- Build relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ask qualifying questions and identify new project opportunities.
- Schedule appointments for the sales team when appropriate.
- Update notes and customer information in our CRM.
- Follow up with customers via phone, text, or email as needed.
- Maintain accurate call records and activity logs.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong phone presence with clear, professional communication.
- Comfortable making outbound calls throughout the day.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and a friendly, confident personality.
- Strong listening and relationship-building skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle objections professionally.
- Previous experience in customer service, appointment setting, outbound calling, telesales, or sales support is preferred.
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
- Must have a reliable computer, stable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a high-quality noise-canceling headset with a clear microphone to ensure excellent call quality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
