About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Full-Time Writer, Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into high-quality written documents with precision and accuracy. Your work will play a key role in delivering the exacting standards our clients expect.
Our Writers provide transcripts for a variety of high-profile, technical, and confidential meetings and events, including:
- Corporate communications & investor relations events
- Employee relations meetings
- Medical and pharmaceutical communication forums
- Governance meetings (board, management, and committee meetings)
- Legal proceedings and formal investigations
- Regulatory meetings and public consultations
- Roundtable discussions and industry seminars

LOCATION: Borough Office, client offices throughout the UK and beyond. Remote working flexibility is available where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe spoken content from audio and video recordings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Format transcripts according to company guidelines and quality standards.
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity, grammar, and style.
- Manage your workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Project Management, and Editorial teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (mandatory).
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Previous transcription experience preferred (will be assessed through a writing test).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection (a corporate laptop will be provided).
