About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity, and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014, we started with the delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022, we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Wolt is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Promotions team and help build the systems that power how merchants grow through offers, discounts, and incentives on our platform.
Promotions at Wolt and DoorDash play a critical role in driving growth for restaurants and brands, enabling them to attract customers, increase conversion, and optimize performance through targeted incentives. This team builds both the platform and user-facing tools that allow partners to create, manage, and measure promotions effectively.
In this role, you’ll work across the stack to build scalable systems and intuitive product experiences, while contributing to complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and domains.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and evolve end-to-end promotions systems, from backend services to user-facing tools used by merchants and internal teams.
- Design and implement scalable backend services, working with technologies such as Kotlin and Python and Go.
- Develop high-quality web applications using React, focused on usability and performance.
- Take ownership of large, cross-team initiatives, driving them from ideation through planning, alignment, and delivery.
- Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape solutions and ensure successful outcomes.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex problem spaces.
- Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and development workflows across the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
